Image
As we live through life with all of these changes and challenges the pandemic is constantly giving us, we are taught to find ways through this inevitable obstacle. As stated many times, the pandemic has certainly brought us misfortunes in many different ways. It didn’t give us the satisfaction in celebrating any events, and it certainly didn’t give us the feeling of contentment when it comes to spending time with our friends and family, especially those who are far away from us. Despite all of the misfortunes and odds caused by the pandemic, the Christmas spirit and vibes in the Heritage City of Vigan still continuous.           Last Christmas was, I would say, still has its essence. The essence of Christmas is still there, but in its simplicity. With focus on the spread of the virus, we are preoccupied and cautious with the guidelines to ensure all of our safety while celebrating. While we are still discouraged to have big gathering...

New Experiences Comes With New Knowledge (Reflection)

Image
This second quarter, I have learned more information when it comes to computer and how to use them even more, as well as new knowledge when it comes to applications such as the notepad. I have been using websites in many occasions, but in this quarter, I had the chance to learn more about them and even make my own. I’ve learned about the various tags and I even managed to use them. While I’m more used to just writing and using words, it was such a new experience using codes and tags to work           And because it was my first time, it was still a little difficult for me. Since we had to work with all sorts of tags, it was hard to actually put in the right one and make sure that there were no errors in order for them to work properly. It was a unique experience for me, working with computers even further and not just sticking to the things that are within range of my comfort zone. It was tough, but the experience made everything worth-whil...

The Youth Of Our Society, We Must Protect Dearly

Image
When we look back at our childhood and the times when we were just mere children, just enjoying the world around us without worrying too much. When talking about childhood, you might remember the times where you were playing around in the grass, or maybe when you kept asking your parents questions, being the curious child that you are. Thinking back at these moments, we realize how important one’s childhood is to the development of a child. These childhood experiences are what teaches the child, and will soon grow with it. But this is where protecting the children and youth takes place.      Children are very diverse. They are all creative and are curious in many but different things, but despite being curios about how the world works, they are still clueless about the things and events that goes on around them. At this age, they are still way too innocent and vulnerable for the world. These precious and vulnerable children should be kept...

The Beauty Of Earth, That We Must Preserve

Image
Our planet, the Earth, is our home and the place where we live and sustains our needs. This is the place where we find peace, where we discover its wonders, the place where all our needs are given out to us. But are we giving back what the earth deserves from us? Are we living in perfect harmony with this so-called home of ours? The Earth is what keeps us alive, but us humans are slowly destroying it through our actions and habits. We have embraced a path of self-destruction in replace to our own selfish desires. We are destroying our home, our natural habitats, the beauty of the Earth, all because we are turning into a blind eye for our selfish desires.        As time passes by, there is still so much we could do to regain the strength and beauty of our environment. Even as teenagers, as children, we might feel like we are powerless and don’t know how to start taking action. But even as just normal citizens, we can start by mak...

Writing My Way Towards Self-Discovery

Image
In my short while of running a blog, there are many experiences that made me have different perspective of things. Throughout the different subjects and insights that I expressed through writing, I discovered more about my inner thoughts. Every new experience was, I would say the first time. It changed the course of how I use social media and how I express my thoughts online.       I’ve always been the type to not express my thoughts or emotions to others, more so online, where I barely even post anything. Through the course of this first quarter of us posting our views in different subjects, I’ve learned to actually get out of my comfort zone. I’ve realized that expressing your thoughts and own perspective on things can also help others as well. To be honest, I’ve never actually thought of running my own blog, and actually let a piece of my works out to the public. The consciousness that I feel whenever I post something as what hinders me from doing so. And like a...
