The Essence Of Christmas We'll Preserve, Our Love Will Not Be Swerved
Christmas is one of the most awaited holidays of the year. With
beautiful lights and warm greetings that contradicts the cold weather, the
singing children that are clearly enjoying themselves, people exchanging gifts
and expressing love to one another; there are countless reasons why Christmas
is one of the most awaited holidays. It is known that the real essence of
Christmas is about sharing love and expressing our greatest gratitude to the
ones we love. It is about the birth of the almighty Jesus Christ. But due to
the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, our actions are restricted.
With a focus on the
virus and the guidelines against it, we are restricted with rules and
guidelines on how to celebrate. We are only really allowed to celebrate with our
household members, gatherings are limited and people should wear masks and have
a distance. Due to this, we are discouraged to do or celebrate anything. The
usual joy and glee that we feel during Christmas looks down and gloomy this
year. But our celebration for Christmas should not be stopped and ruined by the
COVID-19 pandemic! Christmas is the birth of our Lord and Savior, and during
timed like this are we reminded solely of his presence. After many happenings
this year, we are incredibly lucky to be able to spend another Christmas. With
this being said, the essence of Christmas can still be celebrated with the
power and name of Our Lord. By celebrating Christmas with spreading love, by
helping others especially this pandemic, we are able to show the real essence
of this holiday. Of course, there are challenges, and mainly the restricted
actions are the biggest one. But if we really wanted to celebrate with our
family from other places, we can do so by following the health guidelines.
There is nothing impossible to things that mean a lot to us.
Due to the changes of our world, and the restricted guidelines that we have to follow, this year’s Christmas is certainly very different. Despite any challenges and changes that has occurred, those moments that means a lot to us will always be possible. Christmas is the day where we are reminded of our Lord, it is the time when we feel His presence and celebrate with him in mind. With the power and love of the Lord with us, Christmas will never be gloomy or dull. No pandemic or restricted guidelines will stop us from showing and sharing the real essence of Christmas.

Protocols may prohibit us from gathering together in this holiday, but our love for one another definitely will not be altered.
