Empowerment Of Women, Showing Great Power Despite Any Problems

Image
No one can deny the amount of contribution and impact women have made over the years. They have been making changes to the world and for the better of it as well. Women empowerment mainly refers to the practice of making women independent so that they can make their own decisions without any restrains and fear from others. It is the act of lifting their spirits and showing the world that gender is not a hindrance in achieving the best in oneself. Women’s Month is a chance for people around the world to acknowledge women, to see their strengths behind them, to unfold hidden power behind women. This is a way for both men and women to unite as one and acknowledge the worth of both, and to respect every gender and see the individual contributions of each. This time around, while the pandemic is still present, women around the world are still showing their perseverance despite the restrictions. They show that even with big changes in the world, one thing for sure will never change, an...

New Experiences By Taking On The Chances

Image
The more we go through life, the more we learn. As days pass by, we experience new things that we never expect to do, be it small or big. This quarter of our school year, I had the chance to try out a new activity once again. This time, I worked on a community project where I had to do some research about the community or town that I live in. Learning about the history and backstory of the place that I grew up at is certainly interesting and quite enjoyable. Through this activity, I managed to gain a lot of information, as well as feel a bit more connected with my town. I learned about how its name came to be, how the town was founded who found it, as well as read about the growth of the community and its people. I saw the improvement and unique characteristics of each community through this activity.           While I was working on the community project research, I felt multiple things. Even though I found it interesting learning a...

As the pandemic continuous, the more we learn about the ongoing virus that is the cause of the changes and limitations in our life for the past 2 years. With this, we are able to create more ways to fight against the virus, as well as ways on how to strengthen our immune system to not catch the virus. Scientists and Health Experts worked hard and did research on the virus, up until they finally found a vaccine to at least help ward off any virus in people’s immune system. Given the symptoms such as such as respiratory symptoms, fever, cough, sore throat, or sneezes, there is a way to help prevent and fight against these. Though, the symptoms vary from each individual. Their age may also be a factor to said symptoms. Almost all places in the country around the world are now getting COVID-19 vaccine, be it adults, children, and teens. Despite the help the vaccine can give to people, as well as strengthen the immune system and help ward off viruses, there are still some doubt into t...

It is a time we set aside each year to remember the love of God that is poured out through Christ Jesus on the cross in His death. Lent is a very important part of being a Christian, where Lent is marked by fasting, prayer, and reduce distractions as we only focus more on our Savior. Tuesday before Ash Wednesday is the last chance to feast before Lent begins, where fasting will take place. Ash Wednesday is when the fasting begins. On Ash Wednesday, Good Friday, and all Fridays during Lent, adults avoid eating meat. The most common thing they eat during Lent are Fish and Bread, as this is also a reminder of what Jesus gave to the hundreds of people to save them from starvation. But why is Lent such an important celebration to Christians?           As stated, ...
