            Christmas is one of the most awaited holidays of the year. With beautiful lights and warm greetings that contradicts the cold weather, the singing children that are clearly enjoying themselves, people exchanging gifts and expressing love to one another; there are countless reasons why Christmas is one of the most awaited holidays. It is known that the real essence of Christmas is about sharing love and expressing our greatest gratitude to the ones we love. It is about the birth of the almighty Jesus Christ. But due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, our actions are restricted.           With a focus on the virus and the guidelines against it, we are restricted with rules and guidelines on how to celebrate.        When we look back at our childhood and the times when we were just mere children, just enjoying the world around us without worrying too much. When talking about childhood, you might remember the times where you were playing around in the grass, or maybe when you kept asking your parents questions, being the curious child that you are. Thinking back at these moments, we realize how important one’s childhood is to the development of a child. These childhood experiences are what teaches the child, and will soon grow with it. But this is where protecting the children and youth takes place.      Children are very diverse. They are all creative and are curious in many but different things, but despite being curios about how the world works, they are still clueless about the things and events that goes on around them.        Our planet, the Earth, is our home and the place where we live and sustains our needs. This is the place where we find peace, where we discover its wonders, the place where all our needs are given out to us. But are we giving back what the earth deserves from us? Are we living in perfect harmony with this so-called home of ours? The Earth is what keeps us alive, but us humans are slowly destroying it through our actions and habits.
