  As we live through life with all of these changes and challenges the pandemic is constantly giving us, we are taught to find ways through this inevitable obstacle. As stated many times, the pandemic has certainly brought us misfortunes in many different ways. It didn’t give us the satisfaction in celebrating any events, and it certainly didn’t give us the feeling of contentment when it comes to spending time with our friends and family, especially those who are far away from us. Despite all of the misfortunes and odds caused by the pandemic, the Christmas spirit and vibes in the Heritage City of Vigan still continuous.           Last Christmas was, I would say, still has its essence. The essence of Christmas is still there, but in its simplicity.
